The Work
Each piece begins without a fixed plan. I follow the brush, build layers, and let the painting reveal itself—sometimes
in one sitting, sometimes over time. From Cornwall-inspired seascapes with neon edges to quick snapshots of a feeling, the work is always about colour, movement, and the moment it captures.
Created from a loosely defined reference, this painting translates a memory of the Greek coastline into colour and form. A solitary kingfisher perches against a rocky shore, emerging through layered blues and deep shadows — a balance of instinct, atmosphere, and restraint.
